同事购买的Sony Bravia W5500液晶电视，无法设置服务器访问。上网查了一下，由于是XP的操作系统，也无法使用Windows Media Player 11的媒体共享来设置。最后找到一款比较好的软件：PS3 Media Server。

测试用的计算机：
Core-2-Duo @ 1.8 Ghz
3 GB Ram

测试软件及测试结果，括号中为测试结果，老外真是仔细:
- TVersity 1.6 (server was not recognized at all)
- Twonky Media Server 5.0.61 (server was recognized, but most video's were not listed)
- Microsoft Media Player 11.0.6002.18005 (server was recognized, but most video's were not listed)
- Mezzmo 1.1.2.0 (server was recognized, but most video's were not listed)
- Nero MediaHome 4.4.26.0 (server was recognized, but most video's were not listed)
- Simplecenter 4.1.4 (could not make it work because the registration server has been offline for the last couple of days)
- PS3 Media Server 1.11.350 (Plays most video files!)
注意黑体部分：PS3 Media Server 1.11.350可以播放最多的视频格式文件。其他的要差一些。具体使用说明如下：

英文使用说明：Install it. Run it. In the sharing-settings add the folder you want to share. In the transcoder settings for MEncoder you could enable these options for better performance: "Improved multicore support for H264" and "Disable deblock filter for H264". On the tv remote control press Home. Go to "Video" and see of PS3 Media Player is listed. If it isn't, you need to go to "Settings" and then "Server list". Press "Options" and choose "Update server list". If it still doesn't show up, you might need to change the firewall-settings on your computer. If you have an interactive firewall, you might need to retry 3 times (and accept to open a different port 3 times), before it works. After that you should be able to browse and play your videos. You might run into some problems, that I described in my first post. But most movies (avi, mpg, mkv, etc) should work now.
实际上很简单：下载后，安装，运行，在Sharing-settings中添加你想要共享的视频或照片等所在的文件夹即可，其余部分为提高性能和电视方面的设置，等同你的电视附带的说明书内容。剩下的就是按照电视的说明书寻找服务器即可。关闭作为服务器电脑的防火墙。
